Stretch of the day: Seated cross-leg stretch. Sitting on a chair or couch so that your knees are bent to 90°, take one leg and cross it in front, resting the outside of your ankle on your opposite knee. Flex the foot of the crossed leg to protect your knee from twisting. Holding your foot and knee, lean forward, hinging from your hips with a straight back, creating a deep stretch in the glute of the crossed leg. Hold for several breaths and switch sides.
