Stretch of the day: Legs up the wall. This is less a stretch and more a recovery modality in and off itself. It is just like it sounds; lie on your back on the floor with your sit bones as close to the wall as is comfortable/possible. From there, extend your legs up the wall so the backs of your legs are resting against it. Stay in this pose for 5-15 minutes and relax. There are numerous benefits to this inverted posture including; allowing stagnant fluid to drain, reversing the effects of gravity from frequent standing, regulating blood pressure and calming the nervous system.
